Astrid is a truly beautiful, soft, and delicate little lady with the most breathtaking grey and white fur that feels like a gentle whisper to the touch. Her story is one of quiet strength and resilience. She came to us from a pound under heartbreaking circumstances—Astrid was pregnant and, facing overwhelming challenges, was actively aborting her unborn kittens. The difficult choice was made to end her pregnancy to give her a chance at a peaceful, healthy life ahead.
Since arriving in care, Astrid has been the sweetest, softest soul. She carries herself with a gentle grace and a profound tenderness that touches everyone she meets. Despite her past, she has never lost her capacity to love and trust. Her eyes, full of hope and a quiet yearning, speak of a little heart that’s ready to heal and blossom with the right person by her side.
Astrid is a smooshy, cuddly girl who thrives on gentle affection and calm surroundings. She is searching for a quiet home where love and understanding fill every corner—a place where she can feel safe, cherished, and truly at peace. Astrid isn’t just looking for a family, she’s longing for a feline friend too, a companion to be her bestie and share those soft, quiet moments that mean so much.
She will need someone beautifully patient—someone who understands that love is sometimes shown in soft whispers and slow, tender steps. We understand that this may not be the best experience but we are working hard to ensure the people who give up their valuable time and lives to support the animals in our care are able to look after themselves and their families too.

Please note - at Rocky Roads Rescue we do not do single kitten adoptions. Please complete some research into 'single kitten syndrome' to understand why . Your new family member will either need a cat or a cat friendly dog to be friends with and keep them company. Consider adopting a pair of kittens to grow up together if you do not have a companion at home for your new addition - we do a discounted bonded fee for pairs.

⦿ Meet and greet is organised and completed - you head home! 💚
⦿ Family chats to decide if this adoption is right for you!
⦿ Adoption fee is paid
⦿ Contracts are signed and returned to RR
⦿ Pick up your new family member
⦿ 2 week trial period - during this time you can call and text any questions, concerns, celebrations etc to us!
⦿ At the end of the 2 week trial period we send you desex certificates, vaccination certificates and the microchip will be submitted for transfer into your name
