About Blake
Let’s say Hi to Master Blake !!
Blake is a happy guy who is on the hunt for a new home after finding himself unwanted in a regional pound..
This guy loves people enjoys the company of other dogs and has a sweet nature and a heart of gold.
Blake is a work in progress sadly it seems he had no training prior to ending up in the pound, Luckily, he is a quick study and picks things up quickly, Blake can only benefit from more training which will be a breeze as he is very intelligent, and food focused. Master B is getting the hang of walking on a lead; he does very well then has a moment laps in concentration however once correct he gets back on track. Blake crates and kennels without a fuss.
Blake is a dog that requires a good walk or run he is not a set and forget back yard guy. This boy hasn’t quiet finished growing yet however most of the puppy nonsense is behind him.
Blake is ok around the household cats he hasn’t tried to chase them. Chickens are good things to chase so we would say free range chickens are a no
It seems Blake has always been an outside guy he is learning about inside however that is a work in progress.
This boy would suit a home with adopters that understand his breeding and are committed to training to ensure he is the best version of himself possible he really wants to be someone’s best mate or a family that enjoy exercise as Blake is not a backyard left alone type of guy. He does crate/kennel well however typical kelpie will get bored if left long hours alone with nothing to do.
Breed experience or knowledge will be a bonus for anyone looking at this awesome guy.
If you would like to know more about this special boy, his foster mother would love to hear from you to tell you more about Blake. If you have any further questions and would like to meet him, please get in touch with the team.
To ensure a reply to enquiries about possible adoption, please tell us a little about yourself and your location so that we can then pass onto their foster carer and the carer will reach out to you.
• If you are renting your home, please ensure you have approval for a pet BEFORE submitting your application.
Interstate adoption is available at adopter’s expense. Please contact us for a quote. Pups under the age of 12wks will not be eligible to fly until 13wks, the carer will stay in contact until the pup fly’s out to you and your home. Due to being a rescue, the knowledge of breed and size is not always known and is only our best guess judgment.
