About Gus *On Trial*
*gus is currently trialling his new home* we were stunned that lovely little gus wasn’t collected by his owner when he ended up in our local pound, so we had to step in and save this gorgeous dog!! now gus is looking for a forever home where he’ll be loved and cherished and not have to worry about ever being left behind in a pound again…. . Gus’s fur was quite matted after his time at the pound so our vets gave him a hair cut while he was under sedation being desexed so he feels much more comfortable now. Gus is a very affectionate little chap who’s eager to take on all life has to offer. He is a friendly little dog who gets along well with other dogs of all shapes and sizes as well as enjoying human companionship. Gus is terrific with children and is also great around his carers cats. Gus enjoys going for walks or just curling up by your side at night in front of the tv – he can be quite the couch potato especially when it involves cuddles!
he is quite low-maintenance only needing a short walk or a run around the backyard to use up his energy each day. Being a maltese/shih tzu blend gus doesn’t shed any hair though he’ll require a good brush once a week and a clip a few times a year to keep his coat in tip top condition. Secure fencing, bones to chew on and toys to play with will make gorgeous gus very happy indeed!
as gus is housetrained he would benefit from an inside / outside lifestyle with either a doggie friend for companionship or on his own but only if he won’t be left alone for long periods of time especially during his settling in period.
