Looking for a professional cuddler? Meet Douglas, a sweet boy who is ready to find his forever snuggle buddy! Douglas takes a little time to get comfortable, but as soon as he does, he's a happy little biscuit-maker who is desperate for endless cuddles, strokes, and chin tickles.
He's a pro at finding the cosiest spots and loves to nuzzle into his humans for a nap. Douglas is also just starting to show his playful side and loves a good game of tag. If you're ready to welcome a loving friend who will fill your life with warmth and purrs, Douglas is the boy for you!
Like all Maggie's pets, Douglas is microchipped, desexed and vaccinated.

MY IDEAL HOME: The perfect home for me is a calm and peaceful one where I can get plenty of rest and cuddles. I'm not a fan of loud noises, so I'd be happiest as the only pet in the house, where I can have all the attention and snuggles to myself.
MY ENERGY LEVEL: I'm a night owl! I love to play and roam around my surroundings when it gets dark, but I'm also a big fan of cuddles and snoozes in the evening with my humans.
MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: I'm a gentle and calm cat who would do best in a home without children. I'm looking for a quiet and peaceful environment where I can feel safe and secure.
MY SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS: I'm a sweet cat who would love to be the one and only pet in my new home. I'd be happiest in a home without other cats or dogs, where I can have all the cuddles and love to myself.

Douglas has had a full dental and recently got a mass cell tumor removed.

Adoption details
We ask all people looking to adopt to fill in our adoption enquiry form at https://form.jotform.co/92940837256870. Please use this link rather than the 'Enquire' button on the pet's PetRescue profile to streamline your enquiry.
Our foster carer will contact you when we receive your application to arrange a time for you to meet with their foster pet.
We want your adoption through Maggie's to be a good experience so we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog that may suit your situation better and the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two-week trial. At the end of the trial, we will transfer the microchip into your name and provide you with the pets vet certificates. Once you receive the Certificate of Identification from council, your adoption will be complete.
Please consider, that a Maggie's Pet is a pet for Life, before adopting.
