About Leo (67069)
Leo is a charming 5-year-old Dalmatian with a big personality and an even bigger heart. Weighing in at 40.6 kg, he's currently carrying a few extra kilos and would thrive with a bit of gentle exercise and a healthy diet to get him down to his ideal weight of around 36 kg.
Leo came into our care after being surrendered by his previous owners, who could no longer give him the time and attention he deserved. He lived with two small dogs but began showing signs of resource guarding around food and toys, which led to him being separated from them. Because of this, Leo will need to be the only dog in his new home. That said, he's proven to be very social when out and about-he enjoys meeting other dogs on walks and can happily share space with canine companions outside the home. Leo is not suited to living with cats.
During the day, Leo was kept outdoors, but he was always welcomed inside to sleep on his owner's bed at night. He's fully toilet trained and absolutely loves a cuddle, especially after a day of play. Toys are one of his favorite things, though he can get a bit overexcited and may accidentally nip at fingers during playtime. For this reason, we recommend Leo goes to a home without young children-ideally with kids over the age of 13 or adults only.
Leo is looking for a patient, loving home where he can be the center of attention and finally enjoy the stability and care he deserves. Could this beautiful, spotted spunk be your new best friend? Apply online today and come meet Leo-we promise he'll steal your heart.
