About Munchkin Man
Meet Munchkin Man 🐾
Big in size and even bigger in heart, Munchkin Man is a handsome, chunky boy who's learning to love the good life indoors. With his plush coat and soulful eyes, he's loving the joys of soft beds, full bowls, and gentle pats.
This charming gentleman is settling in beautifully to domestic life and has shown he's more than ready for a home of his own. While he can be a real sweetheart, Munchkin Man seems to prefer the solo spotlight-he may be happiest as the only cat in the household where he can soak up all the attention.
If you're looking for a laid-back companion with a big presence and an even bigger purr, Munchkin Man might just be your guy.
To book a meet and greet with Munchkin Man please phone 5441-2209 or email barcreception@bendigo.vic.gov.au .
Due to the high volume of emails received, enquiries with a request for a specific appointment with phone details included will receive a response as priority over generic applications which state they are interested in meeting an animal.

Adoption details
BARC adoption officers will work with you to help you find a dog or cat that matches your needs, they will discuss things like yard fencing, exercise requirements, other pets and family members, lifestyle factors, and breed experience. To help make this as quick and easy as possible, we ask you complete and adoption questionnaire (located on our website, or you can complete on when you visit). This helps ensure that we are introducing you to the most suitable animals we have available.
We encourage all members of the household to attend a meet and greet with a pet prior to adopting an animal. If the animal being adopted is a dog, we will also require existing dogs in the household to attend the shelter as part of the meet and greet.
Holds can not be placed on animals over the phone, and can only be applied at the discretion of management.
