Pleased to meet you! My name is Gizmo and I'm ready to leap into your arms and your heart.

I'm the definition of a quirky little guy. I'm not your typical snugglebug, I'm more of a "you do your thing, I'll do mine, then maybe we run around the yard later" kind of dog. I'm a quiet, patient little dude with the heart of an old soul. I don't get all worked up about treats or toysI'm more into laid-back vibes, observing the world, and joining in when I feel like it. That said, I will surprise you with a burst of zoomies or a good game of chase when the mood strikes. Gotta keep you on your toes, right?

Other dogs? Not really my jam. I need to be the only dog in the house and stay and stay away from dog parks and beaches for now. I'm not a big fan of other doggos, what can I say? I want all your attention to myself! (They also tend to overwhelm me quite a bit).

I'm also still not fully comfortable with all over cuddles, so I'm looking for a home that can understand when I need my space. So, I'm looking for a home with secondary school aged children or older, who can understand that I'm not a teddy bear - I'm a living, breathing, one-of-a-kind little companion who needs his space sometimes.
