About Navy
Navy is a young German Shepherd with a ton of charm and energy. He’s super social with people and loves making new friends—he’s the kind of dog who assumes everyone wants to pet him (and honestly, they usually do). He already knows sit and down, and he's eager to keep learning—especially if there’s a tennis ball or treat involved.
His favorite game in the whole world? Fetch. He’ll chase that ball as many times as you're willing to throw it—he never gets tired of the fun. If you’re an active person or family who enjoys spending time outdoors, Navy would be thrilled to be your sidekick.
Navy also enjoys the company of other dogs, but full disclosure—he can be a bit much for some pups. He’s still learning doggy social cues and may come on a little strong, so he'd do best with tolerant, playful dogs or as a solo pet where he gets all the attention.
He’s a great fit for someone who understands the energy and intelligence of shepherds and is looking for a fun, loyal buddy to adventure with. Navy will thrive in a home that can give him consistent exercise, structure, and of course—plenty of playtime.

Adoption details
Once a dog is collected by our rangers, it is promptly taken for a veterinary check, vaccinated, and microchipped (if not already). The dog is then transferred to one of our designated impound facilities, where it is cared for until adopted. All impounded dogs are promptly listed on our website to help ensure their owners are aware they have been found and are in our care. The owner on the microchip is always contacted and given 14 days to reclaim their pet. If unclaimed after this period, the dog becomes available for adoption. Expressions of interest are added to our Adoption Register and will be contacted in order of who submitted their interest first.
All our adopted animals come microchipped, desexed, vaccinated, health checked and with lifetime registration in NSW.
DISCLAIMER: All of our dogs are located within the Shellharbour LGA. If you live out of the area you would need to travel to Shellharbour to collect your dog.
