About Valkyrie
Valkyrie requires the following in her new home:
- Patient owners who will give her time to settle in.
- A quiet house.
- Daily brushing, to keep her coat lush and as a bonding exercise.
- Another desexed cat living in the home.
- To be an inside only cat with the exception of having access to an outdoor cat enclosure.
Valkyrie is a petite young lady with an endearing personality, and a superbly luscious coat. She is a little nervous about human interactions after a rough start in life but at the very same time is deeply affectionate and can be won over by being brushed daily. It’s crazy but true. The more you brush her the more she comes out of her shell, bonds with you, and exhibits greater confidence. She also adores neck rubs from her people, and a simple touch to her tail will have her turning around and coming back for more love. Her inherent sweetness draws everyone in. Her foster family love her gentle, sweet personality.
Valkyrie is a team player who is readily accepting of new friendly cats, and she would love to have friendly feline company as well as human company. She can also adapt to living with respectful, cat-friendly dogs. She is litter trained.
She needs a patient, understanding home, one that's on the quiet side. With a human family who will keep drawing her along the journey towards greater confidence. And who are willing to invest in that all important daily brushing routine.
Valkyrie will need to live inside only, except for having access to an outdoor enclosure or Catio.

Please note- we do not work on a first in best dressed basis, we assess all applications to choose the home that we believe will best match the animal.
If you believe one of our animals would be a good match for your home please send us a detailed email us with some information about the people and any other animals in your home as well as the type of lifestyle you can offer a new rescue pet.
We are volunteerswho run the rescue around families, paid employment and other commitments so your patience is appreciated.
We do require you to travel to meet the animal you are looking to adopt. For dog adoptions, any other dogs in your home musr attend the meet and greet, this enables us to assess their compatibility and helps prevent them being returned and creating more confusion/insecurities for the foster animal.
We reserve the right to refuse the adoption if we don't believe it's a good match for our animals.
All our animals are available for a two week trial with full refund. They are also covered by a lifetime return policy.
