About Diego
Meet Diego, a sweet boy with a gentle nature. He can be a little shy when you first meet him, but once he feels comfortable, he quickly shows his smoochy and affectionate side. Diego would do best in a calm household as a solo pet, with patient carers who respect his boundaries and let him initiate affection. Diego is searching for a loving forever home where he can feel safe and cherished, and would enjoy having enrichment activities such as toys, climbing spaces, and playtime to keep him entertained. He loves a good chin scratch, and is quick to start purring, however he much prefers to keep all 4 paws on the floor than to be picked up. Diego enjoys a brush which will need to be done regularly to keep his coat free of matting and it makes his fur feel like velvet!

Adoption details
Our adoption process is designed to match you with the right pet, the first time. Our team are experts at rehoming animals who have specific needs that match your lifestyle, to ensure every adoption placement will last a lifetime.
At our Burwood East site, adoption hours are 10am – 4pm. Walk-ins are welcome, and you can freely walk through our dog, cat and small animal adoption areas.
