🐾 Meet Alfie – a sweet young man full of life and love 💕.

Alfie is a bright, affectionate young dog with plenty of puppy energy and a big heart.
At around 1 year old, he still shows some playful puppy traits but is also very intelligent and open to training. He would be a wonderful match for someone who has the time and love to give him.

🐶 What Makes Alfie Special:
- Great on lead and walks calmly and happily.
- Loves people of all ages toddlers, teenagers, and adults alike.
- Friendly with all dogs, whether big or small, though he prefers people to pups.
- Sociable at the park, he loves to greet everyone, making him a real icebreaker.
- Good recall (7/10) – comes back reliably to a whistle or his name, and improving every week.
-Play style: Alfie enjoys a fast 10-minute zoom around the park, then happily returns to his humans.
-Treat motivated – makes training fun and rewarding.
- Low maintenance at home – no separation anxiety, settles quietly on his bed or in his room.
- Prefers chews like bones, goat horns, pig ears, or toys to balls.
- Adaptable. Alfie would benefit from having an older dog as a role model, but is also fine left at home for short periods with enrichment toys (Kongs keep him happy).

Alfie is very much a people’s dog – he loves making new friends, both human and canine, but his true joy is in human companionship. He’s full of life, very friendly, and will bring lots of love (and new connections) to your world 🌎.

Alfie is still learning, but with patience, consistency, and positive reinforcement, he will grow into an even more wonderful companion. 💙

🐥 While under the care of Willow Tree Sanctuary, our dogs are desexed (at the right age) microchipped, vaccinated, heartworm tested (6 months+), treated monthly for parasites and have any other necessary vet treatment required.

Note: We recommend all pups and their adopters attend puppy and obedience training to give them the opportunity to become the best versions of themselves 🙌
