Nature
This big shy boy may take a little time to come out of his shell, but once he feels safe, he’ll happily claim his spot as a giant lap cat. He melts for ear scratches and butt pats, and once the purrs start, he’ll shower you with smooches. A true sweetheart, he’s also an expert “bikkie baker” who will knead his way right into your heart.

Companions (Children, Cats & Dogs)
This gentle giant would love a calm home with adults or kind, older kids who know how to give him the space he needs.

He’s a social boy who enjoys hanging out with other cats and could even be besties with a relaxed, older dog.

Likes / Dislikes
Ivar loves nothing more than stretching out in a sunny spot or curling up under the blankets on a chilly night. He’s a head-boop champion, adores snuggling into his igloo bed, and has a cheeky habit of snoozing in any cupboard you forget to close.

He dislikes loud noises, thunderstorms, and boisterous dogs aren’t his cup of tea, and he’s not a fan of rowdy little ones. He prefers a calm, gentle environment where he can truly shine.

My PURR-fect home would be a quiet home that matches my gentle nature. My ideal place would have a chill cat companion or two to keep me company, and parents who know the art of a good ear scratch.

Give him that, and he’ll give you endless love (and plenty of bikkies). His photos don’t do him justice or show off his impressive size — he’s one you’ll definitely want to meet in person.

Perth Rescue Angels recommends all cats are indoor only, unless they have access to a secure cat enclosure.
