At 7 years young, Mahana is a beautiful reminder that love only gets sweeter with time.

This lovely girl is overflowing with affection and is looking for a family who can give her the care, comfort, and cuddles she's been waiting for.

Mahana didn't get out much in her previous home, so at first, the outside world felt a bit big and overwhelming.

But with gentle encouragement, she's discovered a new love for walks and now, her tail starts wagging the second she sees the leash! She's learning that sniffing the breeze, exploring new sights, and going on adventures with her people is the best thing ever.

Mahana might enjoy living with another doggo, but also enjoys having her own space, so any dog she lives with will need to have an understanding on social cues and understand when play time is over. So if you already have a dog at home who you think might need a friend, please bring them into the meet and greet.

She's also a big fan of rope toys, playtime with humans, and generally being a sweet goofball. But after the fun, Mahana is all about the snuggles.

Her perfect afternoon? A cozy spot on the couch, a soft blanket, and someone she loves nearby as long as she can touch you, even just a paw resting on your leg.
