Winston

Please meet handsome, Pedigree Cocker Spaniel, Winston!
Unfortunately, Winston came to us with some issues and whilst they are mainly resolved, we will be very careful about who gets to adopt him.
Winston came into our care extremely thin, weighing just 9kg. His coat was in shocking condition and, he looked a sorry sight.
Thankfully, with good nutrition, Winstons weight and coat have improved greatly, and he is now looking and feeling much better.
Winston had lived in an apartment and not been well socialised. Due to this, he was extremely anxious and stressed. Since coming into care, Winston has gained confidence, and we have discovered that he really needs another dog in his new home. A dog friend who likes to play and who is calm and social would be perfect to help Winstons progress continue.
Winston is good with people but due to his history, a home without the chaos of little kids would be best. He has never shown any aggression; we just believe that a calm home would help to keep his anxiety at bay.
Winston’s ideal humans would provide structure and daily exercise. There would be someone at home more often than not and of course, a doggie sibling for Winston.
Winston will thrive in the right home, and we believe that he is ready to take the next step. He might need some patience whilst he settles in but he is still a very young dog and he will bring so much joy to his new family.
