Grace is a larger dog, but you’d hardly notice it thanks to her gentle, calm nature and beautiful manners.
Grace adores being close to her people without being needy. She’s happiest saying hello, enjoying a quick pat or cuddle, then settling back into her day. She enjoys a snack or two but isn’t greedy, and she’s especially polite during her “cheese tax” — a special treat she accepts with the utmost gentleness.

During the day, Grace is happy to be left alone inside and can be trusted not to get into mischief. She confidently uses the doggy door and spends her time alternating between snoozing on her bed in air-conditioned comfort or relaxing outside in the sun or shade.

When it’s playtime, though, she’s always ready for fun — especially with her beloved ball, soccer is her absolute favourite game, and she like to have a teddy to nibble on in her bed inside.

Grace absolutely loves the beach. Watching her swim and fetch her ball is pure joy, and she has good recall, staying close when off lead. She enjoys long, brisk walks and even running with her human, but she is strong on the lead, so she’ll need a confident handler who is happy to continue her training.

Grace is dog selective and would benefit from ongoing positive reinforcement training around other dogs. Because of this, she would be best suited as the only pet in the home.

Overall, Grace is a wonderful, smart, affectionate girl who will bring enormous love and happiness to the right family. She would thrive in a home with older children, and people who will enjoy her gentle companionship as much as her playful, adventurous side.
