About Zippy
Well it's time for Mr Zippy to find he's forever home.
He's a loving dog. He currently lives with other small dogs, however he prefers the company of the girl dog, and he would prefer someone who’s home a lot of the time.
Zippy is very loving and is shy when you first meet him, but once he is familiar with the family he will love all of you. He can sit and will stay until you give him a treat and dinner. He loves to chase a stick but does not bring it back.
He pull a little on the lead at the beginning of the walk due to excitement, but will calm down and walks well with the other dogs. He does guard his dinner, so may need to be fed separately, but he’s fine around treats.
Would be suited with kids over 10 years old as he hasn’t been introduced to any younger children. He’s not a fussy eater, he loves his food. He also loves to give kisses and loves to cuddle on the lounge and in the bed.
Medical notes
6-year-old Zippy is desexed and microchipped. He is up-to-date with vaccinations as well as flea, tick, intestinal worm and heartworm prevention.
Zippy has had extensive dental work done, with several extractions and we recommend that he have a regular dental check at the vet.
He has mild patella luxation in his right hind leg, but shows no signs of lameness or discomfort and is therefore not a candidate for surgery at this stage, however he may need this in the future.
