Abraham (Abe)- On Trial-

Abe and his brother jedemiah (jed) were rescued together from the pound when they were about 11 months old. They were surrendered to the pound due to the owners going overseas. Abe has a very active personality, he has a high drive but as much as he loves to be watching what is going on around him, he equally loves attention and will come up for smooches and cuddles. In four weeks he has learnt to sit and now responds to his name. Abe came into care very underweight and although he has put weight on, he still needs to add a little more, he has a lean body frame and his head is not as big as his brothers :-). Abe would not be good with cats, small dogs or other small animals. However he is dog socialised and will socialise with larger dogs. He has no issue with children, except he is still bouncy due to his age and therefore care has to be taken that he might knock over a young child in his rush to say hello. Abe had clearly not been walked on a lead before he came into care, but is learning. He doesn't pull, just likes to criss cross.
