Introducing, the stunning Saliha

When Saliha first came into The Lost Dogs' Home as a stray she was trapped, frightened and shut down. Can you imagine for just one moment what that would have been like for her? The weird smells, the noises, the being handled by people that she doesn't know.

She was terrified and would cower in her condo just hoping people left her alone. After a huge amount of patience and gentle affection from our wonderful staff, Saliha has come out of her shell. With people she knows she will roll around and seek out affection - but she is still very cautious of new people and new environments.

Saliha does not love over handling, she finds it extremely scary and if pushed, her sassy side can come out and she will let you know she is very uncomfortable. We know she has so much love to give. With time, patience, and kindness, Saliha will transform into the loyal, affectionate companion she's meant to be. She may even benefit from having another confident cat to guide her.

Adopting Saliha won't be about instant cuddles - it will be about building trust, creating a bond, and watching a once invisible cat bloom into a cherished family member.

That's not just adoption. That's saving a life.

Saliha is part of our Rescue or Rehome program, where we are committed to finding homes for cats and kittens who simply cannot cope in the shelter environment.
