Let it be known throughout the land that His Royal Highness, KING-ten Sir Floofington Wigglebottom the Third, is seeking a new palace and a court of loyal servants to attend to his every whim.
About His Majesty
Regal Presence: Sir Floofington is not a mere show pony. He does not prance for the amusement of peasants. Instead, he sits quietly upon his throne (or the nearest plush cushion), surveying his kingdom with wise, sapphire eyes.
His Majesty is a cat of few meows, preferring to rule with a gentle, silent paw.
He is shy at the beginning of his reign, but with patience and respect, he will blossom into a true King of the People.
Royal Expectations: All subjects (servants) must be at least 10 years of age. His Majesty welcomes both young squires and seasoned knights to his court.
As a Ragdoll, Sir Floofington is blessed with a luxurious, soft coat and a gentle, affectionate nature-perfect for those seeking a royal companion.
Royal Decrees
Decree the First: All servants must provide regular tributes of chin scratches, gentle brushings, and the finest morsels of food.
Decree the Second: The King's throne (your comfiest chair) must remain unoccupied unless His Majesty wishes to grace you with his presence.
Decree the Third: Subjects must understand that the King's trust is earned, not given. Patience and kindness will be rewarded with royal affection.
Decree the Fourth: The King is not to be paraded or shown off. He prefers to observe his kingdom in peace, bestowing his presence upon those he deems worthy.
Decree the Fifth: All loyal subjects will be rewarded with the honor of serving the fluffiest, most majestic monarch in the land.

BARC adoption officers will work with you to help you find a dog or cat that matches your needs, they will discuss things like yard fencing, exercise requirements, other pets and family members, lifestyle factors, and breed experience. To help make this as quick and easy as possible, we ask you complete and adoption questionnaire (located on our website, or you can complete on when you visit). This helps ensure that we are introducing you to the most suitable animals we have available.
We encourage all members of the household to attend a meet and greet with a pet prior to adopting an animal. If the animal being adopted is a dog, we will also require existing dogs in the household to attend the shelter as part of the meet and greet.
Holds can not be placed on animals over the phone, and can only be applied at the discretion of management.
