About Razy
ASSISTED REHOMING
Meet Razy! 🌺 She is a beautiful senior girl looking for her retirement home. 👍
Razy is a happy calm girl who would love a human companion and maybe with another senior male dog. She has always shared her home with another older Border Collie. 🐶🐶
Razy has never seen a cat so we don't know how she would be. 🐱❓
She suits a family either with no children or older gentle children. 🧑👩
She loves being by your side while watching TV 📺 or while on the computer. 💻
She loves belly rubs and if you are not watching she jumps up on your bed! 🧡
She is still active and loves playing ball and actively returns ball. 🥎 She also loves to go for a swim in the pool. 💧
She is great on her lead and loves her daily walks.🦮
She doesn't like the mower or whipper snipper, as they are the enemy! 😨
Let's hear from her owner:
She is an extremely loyal dog, who follows me everywhere, sits under the computer desk, lies at my feet when watching TV looking for a belly rub and sleeps next to my bed, waiting for a cheeky moment to get on the bed.
She is active and likes to chase after the ball and continuously brings the ball back to you for another chase. She also likes to go for a swim in the pool and launches herself into the water like the start of a 100 m freestyle race.
She enjoys walks and is well controlled on the lead. She always returns when I call her and is very obedient. Has a very good appetite and especially likes chicken and sardines.
Razy has been a tremendous companion who continually shows a great deal of affection. She tends to be timid around new acquaintances but warms people very quickly. She has had no interaction with children or cats. She tends to be timid around other dogs, especially at dog parks so more aggressive dogs take advantage of this.
Not a dog park gal, as its a bit frightening!
She needs a home where he can hangout and sleep inside and have access to a well fenced backyard. 🏡
ASSISTED REHOMING
This is an assisted rehoming which means that Animals In Need Brisbane (AINB) will advertise, contact applicants and pass on applications that meet the criteria to the owner who will make the final decision on the rehoming of the animal.
AINB may also be requested to undertake an inspection of the successful applicants property to confirm safety and suitability.
There is no adoption fee for assisted rehomings but we do ask for a donation from the successful applicant (of their choosing) to AINB in recognition of the administrative and time costs incurred.
Medical notes
No known pre-existing conditions.
Adoption details
We list animals for adoption on Pet Rescue as well as on our own Animals-in-Need-Brisbane website. We talk with people who contact about an animal to see what their needs and situation are. Our emphasis is on getting the right animal for the people and the right people for the animal. If everyone's needs are met things usually work out well.
If the situation sounds good we arrange a meeting. If all goes well we let people try the animal out for a couple of weeks to ensure that everyone is happy.
We keep records of all adopters, follow up to ensure all is well and undertake to take back any animal if circumstances change.
