About Dawson
Dawson is a 4-year-old tabby with a heartbreaking past and an incredibly resilient spirit. Found on the streets without the ability to see, no one knows exactly what he endured — but thanks to a kind-hearted Good Samaritan and a rescue group who stepped in to help, Dawson is finally safe and ready for the loving home he deserves.
Though his remaining eye tissue had to be removed for his comfort and health, Dawson’s world is anything but dark. His other senses shine — especially his capacity for love. Once he knows you’re a friend, Dawson blossoms into a deeply affectionate companion. He adores being stroked, loves gentle brushing sessions, and will charm you with soft, sweet trills — his unique way of asking for your attention and love.
Dawson will need a calm, indoor-only home where furniture and surroundings stay fairly consistent. With a little patience, a stable routine, and enriching playtime, Dawson will not only adjust — he’ll thrive. He’s already proven that nothing can dim his spirit.
If you’re looking for a quiet, loving companion with a brave heart and a gentle soul, Dawson will reward you with endless affection and trust. 💛
