About Faith *On Trial*
*faith is currently trialling her new home* this sweet, gentle little girl is faith and she’s looking for a new forever home after misplacing her old one – will it be with you?????
this poor little pup was absolutely terrified while in the pound after being dumped there, so sadly we knew she wouldn't get an adoption when her 8 days were up (if her owner didn't claimed her, which obviously they didn't. . ) so us sarg folk just had to step in and give faith a second chance!
faith has been in foster care for a couple of weeks now, where she’s settled in well and really come out of her shell. She enjoys a romp and play with her carers own young pup, or any other dog for that matter (so long as they’re not too rough!) and she’s terrific with the households cats. She is even good with children though faith, just like any young pup, can be a bit “bouncy” around toddlers and would need to be supervised. She can be a little timid when she first meets you but soon warms up and really loves cuddles and attention and if you’re sitting on the floor she’ll come and snuggle in your lap. Faith sometimes cringes/cowers at loud noises or sudden movements but she’s getting better every day now that she’s feeling safe again. Pretty girl faith is quite low-maintenance only needing a short walk or a run around the backyard to use up her energy. She doesn’t shed much hair though she’ll require a good brush once a week and her face will need a trim every now and then. Her carer is working on her housetraining and also teaching faith how to walk on a lead as she doesn’t appear to have had much practice at this. Secure fencing, chicken necks to chew on, toys to play with and lots of love will make adorable little faith very happy indeed! and at less than 5kgs when fully grown, faith is a terrific “take-anywhere” size!!
faith would be best suited to an indoor / outdoor lifestyle with either a nice friendly doggie companion on her own but only if she won’t be left alone for long periods of time especially while she’s still a pup and settling in. Medical notes
Faith is desexed, microchipped, vaccinated and wormed. Weight: 3. 3kgs (as at 8/07/11 – she was quite underweight though has put some back on since being in foster care, she enjoys her food!)
