Scooter (On Trial)

Scooter went on trial on 16/7. Pls consider our other dogs at www. Dogrescuenewcastle. Com. Au such as hugh, barkley and bobbi. . . Scooter is 12 month old australian silky terrier x maltese puppy. He is soft as a cotton ball. He'll play all day with toys or other dogs. He thinks cats are lots of fun to play with too. He loves everyone and everything and has no aggression whatsoever. He just wants to have fun. He adores toys and can amuse himself by grabbing a toy and racing around with it. He especially loves squeaky toys and will very cleverly feel around them to find the squeaker then gets a big kick out of making it squeak! you can't help but laugh at his silly antics. Scooter has been living with 2 small dogs, 1 large dog, and 2 kittens and he thinks they all make terrific partners for a game of wrestle or chase. He'd be terrific with children, especially if they will throw a ball for him. Scooter's definitely still a puppy at heart. . . . His original name was scruffy be we've changed it to scooter because it suits his playful personality and because he is not rough and scruffy at all. He actually has the most divine, super soft coat. He feels like a cotton ball! he doesn't shed, so no dog hair around your house, but he will need regular brushing, bathing and clipping to keep him gorgeous and comfortable. He has the sweetest little face to melt your heart. . . But scooter is more than just a pretty face. He's super smart too. He already has good basic training and will sit, lay down, and stay (well, when he's not too busy). He's good on the lead and is not a barker. He loves to go outside for fresh air and to run around the garden but he is mainly an inside dog who will want to sleep inside (or at least in the laundry) and be part of the family. . . Scooter is an active little chap who will need a daily walk and plenty of attention. He would love to go to dog training classes. His forever home would ideally, have another fun loving dog, large or small, as a playmate or else someone who has time to interact with him.
