About Raine
Meet Raine, an energetic and affectionate Rottweiler-Labrador mix, who deserves a lucky break after being picked up as a stray and spending a stint in the pound.
This beautiful girl was born on 21 October 2023, weighs 32 kgs and stands slightly taller than a typical Labrador, making her an impressive and well-built canine companion. Energetic and athletic, she'd be a good match for an active family.
Raine is eager to learn and eager to please. Intelligent and people-focused, she has great potential for positive training outcomes. Being a Labrador/Rottweiler mix, she is motivated by rewards and a desire to interact with her owner.
Although a little timid at first meeting, Raine warms up quickly and before you know it, she'll be your best friend forever. Her friendly demeanor becomes apparent once she's comfortable, and she is devoted to her human companions.
Raine is dog-friendly, but prefers a proper introduction, as all young ladies should.
She has had no exposure to children or cats since being in care.

Raine was desexed, C4 vaccinated and microchipped on 21 October 2023, the day she turned two years old.
Adoption details
Dogs:
(1) The first step is to complete the online adoption application form at https://southerndownsark.com.au/apply-to-adopt/ Please answer all questions and include photos of your yard and fencing.
(2) All applications will be considered by our Adoption Team, following which a "meet and greet" will be offered to the top-ranking applicant.
(3) If the “meet and greet" is successful, the applicant may adopt the dog and take him or her home the same day.
(4) For successful interstate applicants, different arrangements may apply and will be negotiated on a case-by-case basis.
Cats:
If you are interested in one of our cats or kittens, please click on the green "Enquire about ...", button, tell us a bit about yourself and the home you can offer the cat, and one of our volunteers will be in touch.
