About Toot
Meet Toot, a charming and talkative tri-coloured guinea pig with a big voice.
With her fluffy coat and confident squeaks, she makes her presence known-especially when breakfast is on its way. Toot doesn't mind letting you know when it's time to eat, often singing her favourite little songs in anticipation of her morning veggies. She's a girl who knows what she wants and isn't shy about it.
Toot was born in the shelter alongside her sister Zoom, and the two of them have been inseparable ever since. Their bond is strong, and Toot looks to Zoom for reassurance when the world feels a bit too big. They're a curious pair, always eager to explore their surroundings together.
Toot has been fortunate to spend some time in a foster home with children, where she started to learn that gentle hands and quiet voices can be a good thing. While she's still warming up to being handled, her confidence is slowly growing, especially with Zoom nearby for support.
It's important to understand that guinea pigs, like Toot, are more complex than they might first seem. They thrive on routine, companionship, and attentive care. Annual check-ups with a vet experienced in small animals are essential to keeping them healthy and happy. Toot and Zoom are best suited to an indoor home where they can be part of the daily rhythm of the household and remain safe from the elements and predators.
