Hello, I'm Róisín!

My name means "little rose," and I'm a beautifully patterned tortoiseshell girl with a rich coat of black, brown, and gold. I'm just a young girl at one year old, but I've already learned a lot about the world after being found as a stray.

Since coming into care, I've shown that I'm a little bit shy at first. I might be found tucked into a cosy corner, just observing the room. But don't let that fool you! I'm a cat with a big heart who simply needs a moment to feel safe.

Once you offer a quiet, gentle hand, I warm up quickly and start to lean in for those "sweet little pats." I'll melt into your touch, letting you know I'm ready to be your loving companion. I promise, a little patience goes a long way with me!

I'd thrive in a relatively calm and predictable home where my new family understands that I need a little time to settle in. A home with gentle, respectful humans who will let me come to them when I'm ready would be perfect.
