About Maple and Murky
Meet Maple & Murky – The Sweetest Bonded Pair!
Maple (ginger and white female) and Murky (handsome grey male) are the best of friends and truly inseparable. These shorthaired siblings are everything you could want in kittens – friendly, playful, and full of happiness. Whether they’re chasing toys, curling up together for a nap, or following you around for pats, they’ll brighten your days with double the love and double the fun.
Life hasn’t been entirely smooth for these two – they’ve already been adopted and returned twice through no fault of their own. What they need now is the right forever family who will cherish them for who they are and never let them go again.
Maple and Murky are wonderful with kids, making them a great fit for a family household. They’ll thrive in a home where they can play, explore, and of course, snuggle together as they always have.
Could you be the one to give this adorable pair the forever home they’ve been waiting for? Maple and Murky promise to reward you with endless purrs, companionship, and unconditional love – times two!

Adoption details
ADOPTION PROCESS:
1. An Adoption enquiry should be made via
https://form.jotform.com/shellys.place.rescue/adoption-enquiry
2. Once your application has been received, one of our volunteers will contact you for a phone interview. This is to determine whether one of our cats or kittens will be a good fit for your home. We all want long-term success in placing rescue animals, so finding the best fit for the animal AND the family is very important.
3. 'Meet & Greet' with the animal and their carer will then take place if the application is approved.
4. A property check will take place via a video. Once this has been successfully completed, adoption paperwork finalised and the adoption donation processed, the pet can be collected from foster care.
5. A 14 day settling-in period commences once the animal has been collected from foster care.
6. Adoption is finalised after 14 days. Paperwork/records will be included in an adoption pack.
7. All animals will be rehomed desexed, 1st vaccinated, microchipped and treated monthly for fleas and intestinal worms. Once the adoption is finalised, the new owners are responsible for all vaccinations and preventative treatments.
As we are run entirely of volunteers we endeavour to respond to your enquiry as soon as we can. Your patience is greatly appreciated.
PLEASE NOTE: We are unable to hold any animals. Please only apply if you are ready to adopt now.
