Meet Gilbert – The Handsome, Goofy Tuxedo Boy

Gilbert is an 8-month-old bundle of fluff and charm who’s equal parts sweet, affectionate, and cheeky. With the softest fur you’ve ever felt and a personality that keeps his humans entertained, Gilbert is the perfect mix of lap cat (on his terms) and playful mischief-maker.

He adores playing with toys, especially his tunnel, and has a great time wrestling and zooming with other young cats. For this reason, Gilbert would really benefit from having a feline friend in his new home. He also loves to watch birds from the window and would thrive with a secure outdoor enclosure where he can indulge his inner hunter safely.

When mealtime rolls around, Gilbert makes sure his humans are on schedule – he’s not shy about speaking up! In fact, this boy has quite a lot to say, and sometimes it sounds like he’s backchatting. He’s a chatty companion who will keep you entertained with his silly antics and adorable personality.

Gilbert does have his preferences: he’s particularly fond of the company of males and enjoys hanging out with “the boys” for chill time. While he’s sweet with women too, his bromance vibes shine through when he’s got a man to hang out with.

Now for the important bit – Gilbert is looking for an experienced cat owner who understands feline body language and boundaries. He can be highly reactive if touched in certain spots: his mid-to-lower back is sensitive, and his belly is definitely a trap! He also isn’t the biggest fan of being carried around like a doll – Gilbert wants to be treated like the cat he is, not a toy or a dog.

Because of this, Gilbert is not suitable for homes with small children or grabby hands. He would do best in a home with teenagers or adults who respect his quirks and allow him to be himself. In return, you’ll have a sweet, playful, loyal companion who will bring endless joy, laughter, and love into your home.
