About Myrtle
Meet Myrtle, a beautiful long-haired tabby girl with a heart as soft as her luxurious coat. Gentle and loving in every way, Myrtle is the kind of cat who makes you feel instantly at peace just by being near her. She has lived through her own quiet hardships—she has lost the top of her tail somewhere along the way, though we may never know why. What we do know is that it causes her no pain at all and only adds to her uniquely adorable character, making her even more unforgettable.
Myrtle is a snuggler, through and through. She delights in being close to her humans, happily soaking up cuddles or being carried around like the precious jewel she is. She’s the perfect sweetheart for someone wanting a true companion—someone to curl up with, talk to, and hold close after a long day. She’s not shy about her love for treats, either, so be prepared for her to gaze up at you with those dreamy eyes until you give in.
She would thrive in a home where she’s doted on and adored—whether as the one and only queen of her castle with a human around to shower her in affection, or living alongside a fellow gentle-natured cat who enjoys calm company just like she does. What Myrtle really wants is simple yet profound: to be someone’s best friend and confidant in this great wide world.
If you’ve been longing for a loyal, affectionate, and endlessly lovable cat who will fill your days with warmth and quiet joy, Myrtle is your girl. Bring her home, and let her show you what it means to be truly loved by a cat who gives her heart so freely.
Medical notes

Thank you for your enquiry.
Rocky Roads is run completely by voulenteers - as such sometimes we do not have the capacity to reply to every single application that comes through.
We understand that this may not be the best experience but we are working hard to ensure the people who give up their valuable time and lives to support the animals in our care are able to look after themselves and their families too.
Without them, there is no Rocky Roads Rescue.
We appreciate your understanding.
Please note - at Rocky Roads Rescue we do not do single kitten adoptions. Please complete some research into 'single kitten syndrome' to understand why . Your new family member will either need a cat or a cat friendly dog to be friends with and keep them company. Consider adopting a pair of kittens to grow up together if you do not have a companion at home for your new addition - we do a discounted bonded fee for pairs.
Thank you for your understanding.
