Meet Jess, a stunning short-haired calico girl with the softest colors painted across her coat and the gentlest spirit hidden beneath. Jess may be a little reserved at first, carefully watching the world around her with big, questioning eyes. But with patience, kindness, and maybe a few treats, she blossoms into an affectionate, playful, and oh-so-sweet companion who will happily claim your heart…and your pillow!
Jess has a true soft spot for a good booty scratch, and once she realizes you’re someone she can trust, she leans into love with all her heart. She’s the kind of cat who makes every victory feel like magic—when she curls up beside you for a snuggle, or playfully pounces around the room, it feels like winning the greatest prize: her trust.
This little lady is also wonderfully cat-friendly. With the right introductions, Jess thrives in the company of a more confident feline friend who can show her the ropes, give her courage, and join her in a game or two. For a family who already has a gentle, outgoing cat, Jess could be the perfect match—an affectionate companion who blossoms with a confident buddy at her side.
Of course, Jess also adores the simpler pleasures: tasty treats, warm laps, snuggly naps, and stealing your pillow without a hint of shame. She wants to be close to her people once she feels safe, and she rewards love and patience with loyalty and sweetness that grows deeper every day.

We understand that this may not be the best experience but we are working hard to ensure the people who give up their valuable time and lives to support the animals in our care are able to look after themselves and their families too.
Without them, there is no Rocky Roads Rescue.

Please note - at Rocky Roads Rescue we do not do single kitten adoptions. Please complete some research into 'single kitten syndrome' to understand why . Your new family member will either need a cat or a cat friendly dog to be friends with and keep them company. Consider adopting a pair of kittens to grow up together if you do not have a companion at home for your new addition - we do a discounted bonded fee for pairs.

⦿ Meet and greet is organised and completed - you head home! 💚
⦿ Family chats to decide if this adoption is right for you!
⦿ Adoption fee is paid
⦿ Contracts are signed and returned to RR
⦿ Pick up your new family member
⦿ 2 week trial period - during this time you can call and text any questions, concerns, celebrations etc to us!
⦿ At the end of the 2 week trial period we send you desex certificates, vaccination certificates and the microchip will be submitted for transfer into your name
