About Cleopatra π
Meet Cleopatra ('Cleo'),
A stunning Queen with a heart as warm as her colors. Cleo loves spending time with her humans and adores being part of whatever you are doing. She is a champion cuddler, happiest snuggled under the covers or soaking up chin scratches.
Cleo may take a few days to settle in with new people, but once she feels safe, she turns into a total purr machine and might even roll over for a few gentle belly rubs when she is sleepy. She will let you know when it is cuddle time by weaving between your legs or giving you a sweet little boop on the hand or forehead if you lean down.
Her favorite pastimes include bird watching, sunbathing in front of windows, and chasing her beloved feather toys.
Cleo would thrive as the only cat in the home, where she can have all the love and attention to herself. She will do best in a calm environment where she can open up at her own pace, with plenty of sunny spots and soft blankets for her daily naps.
Tip: the fluffier your blanket, the more biscuits she will make.
Does Cleo sound like the perfect cat for you?

Medical notes
Cleo has a history of Feline Idiopathic Cystitis (FIC), a stress-related inflammatory condition affecting the bladder. Cats with FIC can experience occasional flare-ups which may include increased trips to the litter tray, straining, passing small amounts of urine, or blood in the urine. Flare-ups typically resolve within a few days but may require veterinary pain relief during episodes. FIC is strongly linked to stress. With appropriate management (such as a urinary diet), cats with FIC live long, happy, comfortable lives. Adopters should be prepared to monitor for urinary signs and seek veterinary advice promptly if symptoms recur.
Adoption details
All animals adopted through Out of the Woods Rescue are desexed, vaccinated, microchipped, flea/worm treated and health-checked. We aim to match each animal with a home that suits their needs and personality.
Hereβs how our adoption process works:
Submit an application β This helps us get to know you, your household and what you're looking for in a pet.
Phone chat β If your application looks like a potential fit, one of our team members will contact you for a casual phone conversation to answer questions and discuss the animal in more detail.
Meet and greet β Youβll meet the animal in their foster home or another agreed location. If everyone agrees itβs a good match, we can proceed to adoption.
Adoption paperwork and payment β Our adoption fees cover desexing, microchipping, vaccination and parasite treatment.
Once adopted, the animal becomes part of your family. We're still here for post-adoption support if you ever need any help.
Weβre committed to ethical adoptions and reserve the right to decline applications if we feel the match isnβt in the best interest of the animal.
