About Georgie
Georgie is an apricot 9 month old Poodle x cavalier but he shows mostly Poodle characteristics behaviour and looks
An extremely curly non shedding coat will appeal to anyone with allergies
He is a very happy, loving sweet young man who loves his humans , his soft toys and his fellow foster dogs
Georgie is however a live wire , after settling into foster care he has become more confident every day . He loves nothing more than doing laps of the house and jumping any furniture that is in his path, Luckily he’s happy to rest afterwards
Georgie is intelligent , trainable , athletic and energetic and loves to please and get treats
He would make an outstanding agility dog .
Due to Georgie’s anxiety when left on his own we do require there to be another friendly calm dog in the family and a home where there is someone home a lot of the time
He has learned to sit and almost stay and to go to the toilet when asked .
He is well behaved in his crate at night , although would much prefer a spot on the bed , great in the car and at the vets
Georgie is not destructive at all , loves his toys , and takes them with him wherever he goes
Due to his age and energy levels and his desire to play a very small or older dog might be overwhelmed by his exhuberance
A working from home situation, children who are older as very young ones might just be too exciting for him . He bonds very quickly with calm children and could even be trained as a therapy dog as he is quick to learn , really wants to please and loves cuddling
With his nature and intelligence Georgie has the potential to be an amazing dog but needs more commitment from his new family to keep him balanced than just being a companion for another dog and being at home while everyone is a work or school
Georgie is now desexed , vaccinated and being fostered in Hinton near Maitland
Medical notes
No known pre-existing conditions.

Adoption details
IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO APPLY PLEASE FILL OUT THE ADOPTION FORM VIA THIS LINK: https://bit.ly/35pENH8
We require an initial application and then if a dog seems a match we can arrange a meet and greet at a local park or the foster carers home. If the meet is successful we then arrange a yard check and if that is satisfactory we require full payment on picking up the dog.
We then give a 2 week trial and if in that time it is not working we will refund all but $100 for admin costs. We also ask that the adopter returns our dogs back to us at any time in its lifetime for us to help to rehome if required
