About Wally
Meet Wally, a Pomeranian mix with a heart as big as his personality! This little bundle of love is the embodiment of friendliness and affection, making him an ideal addition to any family seeking a social and happy-go-lucky companion. Wally adores people, showering them with affection and always ready to make new friends with his outgoing and cheerful demeanor.
True to his lively nature, Wally can be a bit jumpy in his excitement to greet you, although he is gentle—never mouthy or nippy. He thrives in social settings and is great with other small dogs, enjoying playful interactions and often showing his enthusiasm with friendly gestures. Wally needs grooming due to his luscious coat, so be prepared for regular maintenance, but don’t worry—it's time well spent for the cuddles you'll receive!
While he is friendly and curious toward cats, his playful nature may lead him to chase if they run, so it's best to monitor their interactions initially. When out and about, Wally's excitement shines through as he eagerly meets other dogs, showing his sociability matches his adorable looks. Despite his small size, Wally enthusiastically pulls on the lead to stand still, eagerly taking in the world around him and enjoying every moment spent meeting furry companions. So, if you're ready to welcome an adventurous, friendly little dude into your life, Wally is eager to become your affectionate and playful partner!

Adoption details
Our adoption process is easy. You will receive a application for the animals you are interested in. Please full that in and send it back to us.
Even though you may be first to message, this does not always guarantee you will be chosen to adopt. By no means do we run on a "first in, first served basis". We aim to ensure that our animals are adopted into the most suitable home for them and the new family.
With all our animals, we go on what our vet has told us and what we believe the breed and age to be. We never guarantee the breed or age but take the best educated guess.
Please note: Our shelter is located in the Snowy Mountains. We are a 5 hour drive from Sydney and Melbourne and 2 to 3 hours from Canberra.
