Are you ready for a whole lot of personality wrapped up in sleek, confident cat form? Then say hello to Bastian, the friendliest, funniest, and coolest guy you'll ever meet!
Bastian is the definition of confident and curious. He carries himself with an unmistakable swagger and has enough energy to power a small village. Forget meows, Bastian prefers to communicate with adorable little chirps as he inquisitively patrols his territory, making sure every corner is up to code. His mission is always to investigate, explore, and play, play, play!
This handsome boy isn't just looking for a lap; he's looking for an adventure buddy and a playground!
Bastian would thrive in a home with another confident, playful cat who can handle some good-natured wrestling and chase. He's a social guy and needs a pal to burn off some of that energy with!
Having come from an outdoor life on a farm, becoming a solely indoor cat has been an adjustment. We are prioritising applicants who can offer him a larger home or a safe, enclosed outdoor area (like a catio or secure yard). This extra space will be crucial for his enrichment and to help him comfortably manage his high energy levels.
Toys, Toys, Toys! If it moves, he's chasing it! Bastian is a big fan of chase games, so a home that is stocked with a variety of toys and people ready for regular play sessions is an absolute must.
If you have the space, the toys, and a confident cat ready for a new wrestling partner, Bastian promises to fill your life with endless fun, laughter, and charming chirps.

Adoption details
Our adoption process is as follows:
1. Submit an adoption application via our website at www.rescuecatsofmelbourne.com.au/adopt
2. We will be in touch with you within 48 hours if we wish to progress your application.
3. A meet and greet will then be organised so that you can meet your potential new family member!
4. Upon a successful meet and greet, an adoption day will be set for you to come and collect your new family member and sign all required paperwork
All of our cats come de-sexed, vaccinated, microchipped, flea treated, worm treated and with a clean bill of health.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
The rescue group has removed this pet and it is no longer available for adoption.
