About Harvey - 7 Year Old Border Collie X Sheltie
💙 Meet Harvey – Your Loyal Best Friend 💙
Harvey is a 7 year old Border Collie x Sheltie who is ready to be someone’s whole world. He’s not just a dog - he’s your best friend, your little shadow, your confidant, the one to laugh with and the shoulder to cry on.
Harvey will happily be by your side no matter what you’re doing. He’ll be there whether it’s gardening, reading, watching telly, or heading out for a car ride. He’s energetic and absolutely adores being part of your adventures. He’ll join in anything from chasing a ball or going for a walk or run, to watching the kids’ sport, having coffee at a café, hitting the beach, or exploring bush trails. Ultimately though, he just wants to be with you.
When it’s time to slow down, Harvey is just as content to snuggle on the couch, soak up some sunshine, or enjoy his favourite thing in the world, food! He’s food-driven, eager to please, and will lean gently against your leg or nuzzle you with his nose to ask for pats.
Harvey is kind, affectionate, and endlessly devoted. He would thrive in a home where he can be someone’s number one companion, though he wouldn’t mind sharing his life with a gentle fur friend. While okay to be left for short periods, he’ll be happiest with someone who’s around more often than not.

In his new home Harvey would love:
* Fur friend (optional if he’s your constant companion)
* A fully fenced yard to run and exercise in
* Daily walks & chew toys
* Fresh food feeding
* A human who loves to snuggle and cuddle, and wants a real companion
Harvey’s yard needs to be completely fenced, ready for a dog with permanent fixtures in place. The yard must be cleared of rubbish and choke hazards, with no gaps in the fences or gates.
His adoption fee is $700. He is in foster care in Ryde, NSW. He is desexed, vaccinated, microchipped and treated for fleas, ticks and worms.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to fill in our online Adoption Questionnaire:
https://tinyurl.com/drnadopt
(2) If the questionnaire is approved, we will arrange a property check so we
can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've applied for.
(3) Next, we will arrange for you to meet the pet, usually at the foster
carer's home or at a nearby park.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay the adoption fee*, sign the NSW change of ownership form and our DRN Adoption Agreement and take your new family member home! The two week trial period begins on the day of adoption.
*We prefer payment by funds transfer and don't accept cash or personal
cheques.
