Meet Milo, a delightful Dachshund-Poodle mix who is the epitome of cuteness and charm. Born on September 17, 2023, this pint-sized bundle of joy weighs in at just 8kg, making him the perfect companion for any family.
Milo is what you would call a social butterfly; his super-friendly nature shines whether meeting new canine pals or frolicking with children. His love for company and affection means he's happiest when surrounded by his family, so a home where people are around often would be ideal.
House-trained and desexed, Milo is also chipped, vaccinated, and wormed—ready to wag his way into your heart. While Milo is cat-friendly, his zest for play might not be appreciated by all feline friends, so a careful introduction with any resident cats is advised. Secure fencing in your backyard will provide Milo with a safe space to play and explore.
With an adoption fee of $895, Milo is more than ready to become a cherished member of a loving household that can shower him with the affection and companionship he craves. Don't miss the chance to invite this little ray of sunshine into your life!

Here are some quick tips to make your APPLICATION stand out:
Include as many details as you can about your lifestyle, family, accommodation, and work. Here’s some first-hand feedback from our member rescue organisations about what they'd like to see in your applications:
🐱 Why would this animal suit your home? (This lets them know that you've read the pet’s bio and considered their personality vs. your lifestyle)
🐾 Details about your family
🏡 Is your home quiet/relaxed or loud/busy? (Particularly important for timid cats). Ask questions, to show your are interested in the animals ell being.
Add questions into the application.
Fill out the profiles of your current pets if you have any. Understanding the personality of resident cats and dogs will help rescue organisations or foster carers determine if the pet will adjust to your surroundings.
Remember to be respectful and kind in your enquiries. A simple greeting can go a long way! Behind that screen is a real hooman, who loves and cares for the pet you're enquiring about just as much as you will!
Be open and honest - rescues prefer having as much information as they can about potential adopters.
An adoption fee applies to each animal to cover only the basic veterinary procedures, and each adoption goes out on a 21 day settling in period, if the dog is returned in this period, and you’ve spoken to our trainer for assistance, and the dog is returned in good health, mentally and physically, and all their belongings and paperwork are returned, then we provide a refund less $50 admin fee (per dog) . This is not a trial, but in case of any unknown or unforeseen circumstances.
The adoption process is as follows
✅Everyone that lives in the home will meet the dog with the carer
✅We ask everyone go home again and discuss and think about overnight and contact us the next day
✅This also gives the carer a chance to think about suitability
✅Then if everyone agrees we then require a home inspection, or at least photos of the home yard and fences.
✅Then the adoption fee is paid and once that clears our account you are free to arrange with the carer to collect
✅The adoption paperwork comes out in 14 days in which time you are required to register and change chip over
