Meet Patch, an amazing 9-year-old Cattle x Border Collie mix who’s ready to bring love and companionship to his new family. With his handsome markings and kind eyes, Patch is a charming blend of energy and affection, eager to share his warmth with anyone willing to open their heart to him.
This intelligent and loyal 29kg canine is fully desexed, chipped, vaccinated, and wormed, which means he's healthy and ready to become a cherished member of your family. Patch is house-trained and thrives in a secure environment where he can enjoy outdoor spaces safely, thanks to his clever nature and years of experience with family life.
Patch is a sociable guy who gets along well with other dogs; he delights in their company and can often be found engaging in friendly play. While he may not be a fan of feline friends, he is great with kids, making him an ideal companion for a family with children. Whether taking leisurely walks around Indooroopilly or simply lounging with his family at home, Patch is a loyal and constant presence, ready to offer gentle companionship throughout the day.
His new family will appreciate his reliable nature, and with an adoption fee of just $395, Patch represents a wonderful opportunity for anyone seeking a mature and loving dog who can easily fit into an existing household dynamic.
Are you ready to welcome Patch into your heart and home?

Here are some quick tips to make your APPLICATION stand out:
Include as many details as you can about your lifestyle, family, accommodation, and work. Here’s some first-hand feedback from our member rescue organisations about what they'd like to see in your applications:
🐱 Why would this animal suit your home? (This lets them know that you've read the pet’s bio and considered their personality vs. your lifestyle)
🐾 Details about your family
🏡 Is your home quiet/relaxed or loud/busy? (Particularly important for timid cats). Ask questions, to show your are interested in the animals ell being.
Add questions into the application.
Fill out the profiles of your current pets if you have any. Understanding the personality of resident cats and dogs will help rescue organisations or foster carers determine if the pet will adjust to your surroundings.
Remember to be respectful and kind in your enquiries. A simple greeting can go a long way! Behind that screen is a real hooman, who loves and cares for the pet you're enquiring about just as much as you will!
Be open and honest - rescues prefer having as much information as they can about potential adopters.
An adoption fee applies to each animal to cover only the basic veterinary procedures, and each adoption goes out on a 21 day settling in period, if the dog is returned in this period, and you’ve spoken to our trainer for assistance, and the dog is returned in good health, mentally and physically, and all their belongings and paperwork are returned, then we provide a refund less $50 admin fee (per dog) . This is not a trial, but in case of any unknown or unforeseen circumstances.
The adoption process is as follows
✅Everyone that lives in the home will meet the dog with the carer
✅We ask everyone go home again and discuss and think about overnight and contact us the next day
✅This also gives the carer a chance to think about suitability
✅Then if everyone agrees we then require a home inspection, or at least photos of the home yard and fences.
✅Then the adoption fee is paid and once that clears our account you are free to arrange with the carer to collect
✅The adoption paperwork comes out in 14 days in which time you are required to register and change chip over
