NOTE: You are unable to meet Bluey until/unless you have been notified that you are a successful applicant. An adoption cannot be approved unless you are able to come to the shelter to meet Bluey in person and bring any dogs you currently have with you.

What I need in my new home:
• Daily walks, trips to the park or beach, playtime in the backyard
• Further training with basic doggie manners
• To be allowed inside with my family and not left outside 24/7 with no interaction.
• A doggie playmate who is confident, social & outgoing would be highly beneficial for me to follow and learn from.
• I have previously lived with cats so would be fine going to a home that has them
• Secure Fencing (6ft Colorbond or equivalent)
• Lots of toys and mental stimulation
• Lots of love and attention
• No young children as I can be a bit shy in new situations and with new people and little ones may accidently scare me. Older children who will be involved with my training should be ok
• I can be shy at first, so I need a family who'll allow me to grow in confidence in my own time

My best features:
• Playful
• Food motivated
• Gentle & sweet nature
• I can sit
• I love cuddles
• I walk well on lead majority of the time (sometimes need gentle reassurance & coaxing)
• Happy to hang out with other friendly dogs

Where I need to improve / Training required:
• I will benefit from further basic training so that I am the best behaved girl that i can be
• I can be weary in unfamiliar situations so will require further socialization with positive encounters and lots of tlc & reassurance along the way
• I will bark behind a fence at people and other dogs but am fine when meeting them in person, once again lots of positive encounters and socialization should help with this
