About Simba
Meet Simba, a striking German Shepherd cross who embodies both gentleness and charm. Currently residing in Northmead NSW, Simba is eagerly awaiting a new family who will welcome him into their lives with open arms and plenty of love. His facile demeanor makes him an exceptional companion, not needing much maintenance but basking in the warmth of a caring environment.
Simba is a happy-go-lucky pup with a medium build, weighing in at a comfortable 25 kilos. Despite his laid-back nature, he still exhibits an endearing puppy playfulness that brings joy to any household. He thrives on inclusion, daily walks, and quality playtime out in the yard. With further training, Simba is sure to excel, embracing the activity with enthusiasm and relishing opportunities to stimulate his curious mind.
Although Simba would need to meet new doggos in a neutral area, his soft and amiable nature would blend seamlessly with another similarly gentle dog. He would likely form a deep and loyal bond, offering companionship to a female dog that shares his temperament.
If you're searching for a devoted and fun-loving furry friend who will fill your days with happiness and companionship, Simba could be the perfect match for your family. Take the opportunity to meet Simba, and he might just wriggle his way into your heart and home!
We always recommend to continue training when you take your dog home. Training doesn’t have to be a chore – it can be a fun experience for you both, it doesn’t have to take long and is a great way for you to bond with your new dog.
If you live in Queensland or Victoria, you can be considered, however you will need to be able to drive with your family to meet Simba. If for any reason he doesn't fit your family you will be responsible for bringing him back to Sydney.
If you have recently owned a German Shepherd or large breed dog, and understand German Shepherd and think you have the commitment to give Simba a new home, then please click on the link "Enquire about Simba” and we will send you information about adopting a German Shepherd or go to our website and complete the application form.

Adoption details
We have an Adoptions Manager who screens all prospective candidates as to their suitability to adopt a German Shepherd Dog.
We try to contact every one by phone but if that isn't successful we will email our application form to you, which needs to be completed and returned, or you can call us back and we can chat and complete for you. We will also ask you to provide photos of your yard and fencing to enable us to see where the dog will be kept and that they have areas of shade and shelter.
All our dogs are ready to go to their new home, so when you enquire about a dog you must be in a position to take them into your home. We are unable to hold a dog while you fix your fences or go on holiday, etc.
The successful candidate who adopts one of our dogs is provided with an information kit, ongoing support, training and advice on all aspects of feeding, training and general assistance to ensure both the new owner and our rescued dog settle into their home.
