This beautiful sweet puppy was handed to me at my door a couple of weeks ago.

Arriving as Cain, he has had a name change to Can Can - because, well, he Can Can do it all!!!

Can Can had spent his few months of life tied to a tree because the fencing wasn’t good at his home. He is just 6months old 😔

Don’t get me wrong, they loved him and during the day he would socialise with doggos down on the oval most days as the young owner didn’t work. So whenever they could off he went 💕

He now LOVES being inside!! He doesn’t destroy things and is so very loveable!💞
With a personality that endears you to him from the moment he bounds up to you, you just melt!
Those eyes!!! Get me every time!! 🤗

He hadn’t had much training, but we have spent a lot of time with Can Can to help him make up on some learning curves he should have had as a pup 🐶

Toilet training - being SUPER, SUPER smart Can Can, now alerts us to go out to toilet. Being tied to the tree meant he went whenever he wanted to and his bladder wasn’t trained.

WE ARE NOW 95% there!!
and are continuing to be pre-emtive by encouraging him like you would with any other pup during training.

Can Can is funny!!
If your lacking joy in your life this dog will have you constantly laughing.
His puppy awkwardness is hilarious!
His ability to connect with hoomans now is lovely to see. He has grown in confidence and this means his hesitation and hand shyness has diminished.

He sleeps beautifully in his crate and sleeps the night through, though we still have him near us as he likes to know your around and relaxes beautifully to that routine ☺️

Can Can loves his toys, loves to share them with you. He loves nothing more than to engage you in play. Oh and does he love a snuggle!!!

A SUPER!! affectionate boy that is doing so well with recall. Food motivated and like our Ridgies, if left unsupervised with food around, is known to sneak off with the spoils 😂

He is also, I guess, from being tied to the tree, quite independent. He happily takes himself outside and lays in the sun chewing on a bully stick or playing with a toy🧸

His keenness to please is beautiful.
His kind, social nature is beautiful.
His love for children is beautiful.
His interaction with other dogs is beautiful.
His sense of humour with just the right amount of cheekiness is beautiful.

He loves car rides!! now jumping in enthusiastically and happily waits while we pick things up.

We took him to work and he happily laid himself on his mat with his toy and chew and chilled.
Takes himself into his crate for a nap with the door open.

This boy is special!

With enrichment as a focus, remember he is a scent hound so positive training and understanding his needs is vital, this boy will turn into an amazing companion and family dog.
