Looking for a loyal shadow, a sunbathing buddy, and the world’s sweetest snuggle partner? Let us introduce you to Hanzi - a truly special soul who will steal your heart with his gentle nature, goofy antics, and unconditional love.
Hanzi is the kind of dog who lives for the simple things: a warm patch of sunlight, a soft place to nap, and someone nearby to share his calm, loving presence. While he gets the occasional case of the zoomies and will excitedly bowl you over with joy when you walk through the door (it’s his signature welcome!), most of the time he’s as chilled as they come.
Whether he’s snoozing at your feet or tumbling off the couch in a hilarious moment of clumsiness, Hanzi’s laid-back vibe and quirky charm are simply irresistible.
🧡 A Gentle Companion
Hanzi is incredibly tolerant and calm - he’s fantastic with kids and has lovely house manners. He’s fully housetrained and settles beautifully into home life. His biggest wish? To be close to his people and soak up all the love he can get.
🐾 Sensitive Soul
Hanzi has had a tough past with other dogs and can be anxious around them, even though he desperately wants to be their friend. For this reason, he’ll thrive in a home where he can be the only dog and not feel overwhelmed.
We’re not sure how he is with cats - so far he doesn’t seem to notice them much, as he tends to be off in his own dreamy little world (his senses aren’t the sharpest, which just adds to his charm!).
🚶♂️ Easy Walker, Low Maintenance
Hanzi walks beautifully on lead and doesn’t pull at all. Due to his poor recall, he’ll need to stay on lead during walks, but he’s more than happy with a gentle stroll and a bit of time to sniff and explore. He’s not a high-energy dog and doesn’t need a lot of exercise - just your companionship and a safe, loving space to relax.
