About Pip & Squeak - In foster in Preston
Dearest Readers,
It is with great pleasure (and perhaps a touch of scandal) that I introduce to Society the most charming of sibling duos: Lady Philippa Cordelia von Butterscotch Fluffington-Smythe, Baroness of Meowshire, known more commonly to her intimates as Pip, and her ever-devoted littermate, Lord Squeakbert Giles von Montague Fluffington-Smythe, Earl of Whiskerton, known to those of lesser rank as Squeak.
This pair are of the finest pedigree in the art of play and mischief, engaging in daring feats of acrobatics and elaborate pursuits of toys most novel. Their curiosity is rivalled only by their impeccable manners, for once the chandeliers have ceased to sway and the drawing room is in order, they are content to retire to a heap of silken naps, their purrs echoing like carriages down the cobbled streets of Mayfair.
Pray, do not be deceived by their initial shyness—these noble creatures merely require a quiet and respectable household (young children being far too rambunctious for their refined tastes). Once their trust is earned, their affection flows as generously as the champagne at a Featherington ball.
It must be noted that the fair Lady Pip possesses a delicate eye requiring daily drops of the finest medicinal lubricants. Yet, she faces this minor affliction with courage most admirable and grace most enviable.
Should one wish for twice the love, twice the laughter, and twice the resounding chorus of purrs, Pip and Squeak shall make the most suitable companions. One could not hope for a more entertaining addition to their household—and what a coup it shall be for the fortunate adopter to secure them both.
Yours most sincerely,
Lady Whiskerdown 🪶
