Boston has spent more than eight months in care, and we would really love to see this handsome boy experience life outside the kennels and become part of a family.

Boston is a people-loving boy who enjoys affection and companionship. He has so much potential in the right home and would suit someone confident with dogs who is prepared to continue his training, give him clear guidance and help him adjust to life in a home.

At around 30kg, Boston will need secure fencing and an owner who can manage him confidently while he settles in and learns his new routine.

Boston could be very happy as an only dog and enjoy having his humans all to himself. He has also had positive experiences with other dogs while in care, including previously sharing a pen with Lolly, our young Husky x Staffy.

Boston can be selective with other dogs, so if there is a resident dog, we would require a suitable meet and greet and slow, sensible introductions. Boston doesn’t like dogs who growl at him.

Children over 10 would probably be the best fit due to his size. He has previously been around a younger child during a training session without showing any concerns.
He will need some ongoing training and guidance as he transitions from kennel life into a home. But for someone willing to put that time into him, Boston has the opportunity to become a very loyal and loving companion.
