Louis

Louis is a 9-year-old Japanese Spitz (roughly 10kg) with the sweetest soul. This lovely boy has a soft and affectionate nature, and he is happiest when he's close to his people—whether that’s snuggled on the couch, padding along beside you on a walk, or keeping you company while you work from home. He adores relaxing in a garden when the weather is good to we'd love to find him a home with a yard.

Louis is house-trained and has great manners around the home. He walks well on lead and absolutely loves exploring the outdoors, but he's not a high-energy dog— he is content with daily strolls and plenty of cuddle time. Louis gets along well with other dogs and could happily share a home with a furry friend, but he would also thrive as the only dog soaking up all the love.

While Louis has a gentle and affectionate side, he can sometimes be a little unsure when meeting new people. He may growl or snap if he feels uncomfortable, but with patience, kindness, and a little space, he quickly realises pats and affection are on the way, and he warms up beautifully. Once you’ve earned his trust, Louis will happily be your loyal, loving companion. For this reason, he's best suited to a home without children.

He doesn't mind being left alone and is happy sleeping anywhere, generally on the couch. His favourite things are walks, soft toys and affection.

This delightful bundle of fluff will absolutely melt your heart with his waggy tail and big smile. Louis is ready to live out his senior years in his next happy home.
