About Gary
Gary is a playful 18-month-old pug (with a sprinkle of cross) who has a big heart. This sweet boy is happiest when he’s spending time with his family and playing or cuddling with another pup. Gary has the best facial expressions and he will keep you smiling with his playful antics.
We have recently come to learn that Gary has hip dysplasia, but he is not letting this get him down. However, he will need a family who can give him the right balance of love, care, and some restrictions with his activity.
Gary needs a calm home life where his exercise can be safe and steady. So no slippery floors and no crazy zoomies or jumping around. This doesn’t mean Gary can’t have any fun. He is still able to play with another small pooch and go for his daily walks. Gary loves his walks and needs to continue walks on lead for 1 hour per day, ideally split into 2 x 30 minute walks. This will help keep his humans fit too 🚶🏼♀️
Gary is looking for someone committed to helping him stay lean, strong, and mobile.
Gary is on his way to being toilet-trained but requires some ongoing reminders to ensure his success. He is a very affectionate fellow, and he will be a most loyal companion.
