About Joe
Meet Joe, a lovable Jack Russell Terrier with a heart as big as his playful energy. Joe might be slightly on the chunky side, but that's just more of him to love! He's been very well cared for and is eager to bring joy to a new family who can match his zest for life.
Joe thrives in both indoor and outdoor environments, enjoying the freedom of a doggy door to explore and venture as he pleases. His ideal companion is an older, energetic individual who has a lot of love to give and enjoys a mix of activity and cuddles. He’s toilet trained and has a knack for making new friends, having demonstrated his amiable nature with most dogs at the shelter.
Joe's enthusiasm shines through when visitors arrive, as he warmly greets them with contagious excitement before settling down for a more relaxed interaction with affection in the form of cuddles and love. He’s quite the car enthusiast too; you're likely to find him napping away peacefully on long car rides.
Despite his bustling energy and occasional pulling while on a leash, he is well-behaved and ready for walks and new adventures with his forever family. If you’re looking for a delightful companion with a balance of spunk and softness, Joe might just be your perfect match.

Adoption details
Our adoption process is easy. You will receive a application for the animals you are interested in. Please full that in and send it back to us.
Even though you may be first to message, this does not always guarantee you will be chosen to adopt. By no means do we run on a "first in, first served basis". We aim to ensure that our animals are adopted into the most suitable home for them and the new family.
With all our animals, we go on what our vet has told us and what we believe the breed and age to be. We never guarantee the breed or age but take the best educated guess.
Please note: Our shelter is located in the Snowy Mountains. We are a 5 hour drive from Sydney and Melbourne and 2 to 3 hours from Canberra.
