Meet Taz!
Taz is a quiet, shy gentleman looking for a calm and understanding home where he can come out of his shell at his own pace. He should begin in a small launch room and be given time to settle before exploring the rest of the house, as large open spaces can be overwhelming for him.
He thrives in an environment with plenty of cozy hideaways, cat trees, shelves, and scratch posts - safe spaces both high and low where he can feel secure. Taz would do best with a patient adopter and a home with older kids (8+) or teens who understand when to give him space.
Taz is cat-social and may benefit from having a friendly, confident feline buddy to help show him the ropes. He might also be okay with a calm, respectful dog if introductions are done slowly and carefully.
Though still shy, Taz is beginning to lean into gentle pets and loves his food - a great way to build trust! He's the perfect little project kitty for someone ready to offer patience, love, and a quiet place to grow.
