Hi, I’m Remy! My Foster Mumma says I should’ve been named Shadow or Sir Purr-a-lot - clearly regal titles befitting a feline of my stature - but alas, those names were already claimed by other noble fluffballs.

Nature
I began my journey on the streets, a scrappy little panther with nothing but grit and dreams of a better life. Then, like a twist in a fairytale, two Angels swept me away from the chaos and brought me to a place of warmth and safety.

It wasn’t easy at first. I didn’t trust easily - royalty must be cautious, after all. But with patience, sweet whispers, delicious feasts, and the sacred art of head rubs, they won me over. Now I’ve discovered the joys of indoor living, and let me tell you, lounging on plush cushions and surveying my domain from sunny windowsills… absolutely divine.

Don’t be fooled by my rugged exterior or my initial shyness, beneath this mysterious cloak of fluff lies a heart full of sweetness. Once we’ve passed the formalities and I’ve deemed you worthy, I transform into a confident, affectionate floofy panther, ready to rule your lap and your heart with gentle purrs and loving gazes.

Companions (Children, Cats & Dogs)
I’m quite content with adult hoomans once trust is established. Teenagers are acceptable members of my royal court. Small children, however, are a bit too unpredictable for my liking. I prefer a more refined audience.

As for fellow feline nobles, I’m still learning the art of diplomacy. Will I ever master it? The jury’s out. I’d prefer to be the sole feline sovereign, but if you already have kitty subjects, a slow and respectful introduction is key to maintaining harmony in the kingdom.

Dogs? I haven’t met any face-to-face, but two large barky beasts live outside my current castle walls, and their noise doesn’t ruffle my fur one bit.

Likes / Dislikes
I absolutely adore hooman company. Whether you’re working, lounging, or sleeping, I’ll be nearby watching, purring, and basking in your presence. Head scratches? Yes, please.

Food is my treasure, wet or dry, I accept all offerings with enthusiasm.

Now that I’ve embraced the luxurious indoor lifestyle, I’ve come to appreciate the brush and comb - after all, a king must maintain his majestic appearance.

My PURR-fect home would be a quiet, peaceful realm where my hoomans are home most of the time - retired or working from home would suit me splendidly. I need patient subjects who understand that trust takes time, but once earned, I’ll shower them with affection and loyalty.

Perth Rescue Angels recommends all cats are indoor only, unless they have access to a secure cat enclosure.
