About Minty - 8 Month Old Maltese X
Minty is an 8-month-old Maltese × Shih Tzu × Pomeranian with a gorgeous non-shedding coat and the sweetest little personality. She bonds very quickly with her humans and will happily follow you everywhere — her loyalty and devotion are truly heart-warming.
This tiny girl comes when called and loves to be close by. Because of her size, she can slip through most fences (even pool fencing) if she knows you’re on the other side, so she’ll need a very secure yard and must be kept safely indoors when no one is home.
Minty is both child-friendly and dog-friendly when supervised. She can show a little guarding behaviour toward her person at first, but with clear boundaries and gentle guidance, she learns quickly. She isn’t a barker, though she may give a small growl when feeling threatened.
She enjoys short walks where she can sniff and explore to her heart’s content. She’s making great progress with her toilet training and thrives as an indoor companion dog — especially since she’s prone to overheating in summer if left outside.
Minty is also curious but calm around free-range chickens, though supervision is still needed. Minty is untested with cats.
Regular grooming will keep her beautiful coat soft and lovely.
If you’re looking for a devoted little shadow who will love you endlessly, Minty may be your perfect match. ❤️
Minty is in foster care in Aberdeen, NSW. Her adoption fee is $1100 and she is desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas, worms, vet checked and microchipped.
