Sweet little Jonas is looking for his unicorn home! 🦄
Jonas arrived into care after we saw a post about a little kitten that was limping on the street. He was eventually trapped after being scared off and once he arrived at our vets and X-rays were completed, our vet found an old irreparable fracture, so we had to make the humane decision to amputate his leg, part of his tail and part of his ear due to old injuries.
Jonas is very fearful of people still, he sleeps in his foster carers bed when she’s not home or under her pillows where he can’t be seen when she is. He still won’t come to you on his own, but is easy to handle once picked up.
He adores other cats and would be best suited to a home with at least one other calm cat that can show him the ropes.
He relaxes and begins to purr when he’s being held and another cat comes into sight.
Jonas has had all his vet work completed and is ready to take the next steps to finding the purrfect forever home
The unicorn home we’re looking for:
A quiet home, ideally a single person or a couple
Friendly, confident cats
Experience with shy cats and the patience to wait for him to settle in
NO DOGS
NO YOUNG KIDS
This could change into the future as he becomes more adjusted to his surroundings, but at this stage, the best home for Jonas is the above.
He has had all his vet work done and is in foster care in the Colyton area.
